For a ~rough estimate of their playstyle and stats, I've listed the difference in stats (with Light Affinity) vs. the same class, or the closest analogue (with a Proof of Merit's stat bump, if the class in question can't upgrade with Proof of Merit). All of thise is a post-game file with level 54 units. A good chunk of the LDR here may just be a result of getting a +1 from capturing various objectives (though later joins are less susceptible to this).

Here Devoa and Lindly are compared to a Paladin, Diana to a Paladin, Stefan to an Assassin, Narima to a Swordmaster, Raskuja to a Ranger, Lysander to a Hospitaller, Beatrix to a Soercerer, Azuros to a Blue Dragon Rider, & The Hand of Zanatus to a composite of Red, Blue, and Silver Dragon Riders.

Chptr 3		General Antares	Sentinel when fought as a boss on Chapter 3, Knight in the DLC. War Hero from a generation before the story takes place, feels compelled to act against the oncoming disaster: but winds up being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
		Jebediah	Dark Mage when fought during Chapter 29. A book worm from the temple of Donar, who's ambition and desire to be noticed leads him to follow Zanatus; being the last scholar capable of translating ancient texts due in no small part to his own underhanded actions.
		Casamir	Sentinel when present on the map in Chptr 13 or 28, with comically bad Str, Skl, and LDR stats. An ambitious politicion who's willing to stoop to any level to achieve his ultimate goal: being crowned Emperor. The primary antagonist and villian.
		Duke Lothair	Knight when present on the battlefield. A Duke sympathetic to the Temple of Donar, and caught in a civial was when Duke Terenor's forces attack him.
		Duke Terenor	Knight when he appears on the battlefields of Chptr 12. One of 3 Dukes vying for power, riled up by Casamir to attack Lothair and the Temple of Donar.
