Strategy

The chapter begins with dealing with the Light Infantry and Cavalry squads to the East of the starting point. A strong tank squad with spearmen at the front can deal with the cavalry, while another squad with a strong front and back-line can take the brunt from the rogues.

Once the initial enemies have been dealt with, your strongest squads should take the fort. Immediately upon defeating the squad in the fort, the Cavalry to the far South will attack, so again, be sure to have a strong spearman squad to hold off the initial assault.

One squad should be sent to the East to deal with the stationary rogue enemy squad, and to then claim the two treasure chests.

The remainder of your team should focus on trying to deal with one of the hardest boss groups in the game: Dirk. You will need to attack with a strong squad to try to defeat the rangers, and then shuffle a strong defensive squad to then take the counter-attack from Dirk. After that, he and his squad should be weak enough to be defeated. On higher difficulties, it is tough to avoid casualties.
