Effect: +25% damage dealt when the enemy squad has more units than your squad. -25% damage dealt when the enemy squad has fewer units than your squad. No effect when both squads have the same number of units.
Strategies
The Giant's Thresher is an interesting artifact providing a very sizeable boost to damage on the condition that the enemy squad has more units than the squad equipped with the Giant's Thresher. It is therefore useless on squads that have 9 units as the bonus will never be realized.
It is commonly used in Dragon or War Cat squads, as these only count as 1 unit, so even a full squad of these will most likely only have 6 units, allowing the bonus to be applied when fighting late-game squads of 7, 8, and 9 units.
